I am 28 years old and the mother/carer of my 10 year old son who has cerebral palsy. I feel passionately about NDIS and would like to help in any way possible. I was so inspired after years of suffering in the current state of the system to do something about it. My plea, as that of others has often fallen on deaf ears consistently. I have now enrolled at QUT in QLD to do a degree in Human Services to benefit all of us carers & pwd who are in the same position. I am currently working on a collaborative activism project for uni about the NDIS to further promote it to other students in the field. So I am printing off my membership form and look forward to joining & promoting your party. Anything that I can do for the Carer Alliance please feel free to contact me.
